9 Most Effective Air-Purifying Indoor Plants for Small Apartments

The indoor plant craze is well and truly upon us and given the number of indoor plants available, it might seem overwhelming when selecting the perfect plant for your home.
Fear not, we have created a list of apartment-friendly indoor plants that will not only make your home look like it’s been styled by a pro but also give your home a breath of fresh air, (literally).

We have selected 11 of our favourite indoor plants with air-purifying properties, that we think will be the absolute best choice for small homes and apartments.
For many of us, living in a home with large windows and being surrounded by great air quality is pretty unrealistic, especially if you’re living in the city or a small apartment.
Air purifiers can be very expensive initially, and the cost of electricity to run them can make them an unaffordable option.

Thankfully nature has solved our problems by creating incredible air-purifying plants that are happy when grown indoors.

The plants in the below list have been studied by NASA in their “Clean Air Study”, and each plant has been proven to purify and remove toxins from the air.
Here are our favourite 11 indoor plants with air-purifying qualities.
