These Kmart Pegboard Hacks will Double Your Storage

Let’s face it, who doesn’t love a simple storage hack that provides storage while looking amazing in the home?
Kmart has created a fantastic storage solution in the form of a very versatile (and inexpensive) pegboard that can be placed virtually anywhere inside or outside of the home to provide extra storage where it’s needed.

This Kmart Pegboard is so incredibly popular that families all over Australia have been rushing to buy one to solve their storage solution problems.
The great thing about this Pegboard is that it can be extended by buying multiple pegboards and installing them side by side to create one extra-large storage solution.
Thanks to the affordability of the pegboard at only $29, buying multiple pegboards won’t break the budget.

We love seeing the creative ways these pegboards have been used, so I have compiled the below list of my favourite Kmart pegboard hacks from families across Australia, to give you some inspiration for your next pegboard journey.

See below for the fantastic ways people have been using their Kmart Pegboards.

1. In the Nursery

Using a pegboard in a nursery is a great way to combine practicality with functionality. This mum has created a beautiful pegboard for her son’s room that is both practical and charming.

2. Maximising Kitchen Space

Kitchen space is incredibly sought after, and we just never seem to have enough of it.
Using a pop of greenery, some coloured jars and a practical place to store utensils will bring a big kitchen feel to a small area.

4. Kitchen and Dining Solution

Combined kitchen and dining areas are known for being short on space. Why not use one, or even two Kmart peg boards to create a communal storage space for both the kitchen and dining areas.

5. Jewellery Storage

Jewellery storage doesn’t have to be hidden away in cupboards and drawers. Feature your beautiful pieces by hanging them up on display for everyone to admire.
Not only do they serve a practical purpose (and they won’t be all tangled together), they add a unique feature to any walk-in closet or bedroom space.

6. Outdoor Flower Display

Wanting to add some live flowers to your display? Succulents are not only super on trend right now, but they are very hardy and require very little maintenance. Add a pot (or two) of Succulents to your Kmart Pegboard to give your outdoor space a lush leafy vibe.
